How to check lottery results
Find your lottery in the list above, check that the draw date matches your ticket, and compare your line with the winning numbers, including any bonus ball. LottaGo updates the latest lottery results for all 45 lotteries after every draw, and each game shows the date of its next draw, for example Oct 14, 2026 for Powerball and Oct 13, 2026 for EuroMillions. The operator's official results are final, so confirm any win with the operator or retailer before you claim.
Which lottery draws tonight? The weekly schedule
Draw days below come from each operator's official pages, checked in October 2026. Times are local to the game. US draws at 10:59pm or 11pm Eastern Time land after midnight in the UK, Ireland and South Africa, so "last night's lottery numbers" for Powerball often carry the previous day's date there.
| Day | Draws (local time) |
|---|---|
| Monday | Powerball (US) 10:59pm ET · Irish Lotto 7.55pm |
| Tuesday | Mega Millions 11pm ET · EuroMillions (UK broadcast 8.45pm) · Thunderball 8pm · SA PowerBall · Oz Lotto (after 7.30pm AEST) |
| Wednesday | Powerball (US) · UK Lotto (two rounds) · Thunderball 8.15pm · Irish Lotto · SA LOTTO · Lotto 6/49 |
| Thursday | Powerball Australia (after 7.30pm AEST) |
| Friday | Mega Millions · EuroMillions · Thunderball 8pm · SA PowerBall |
| Saturday | Powerball (US) · UK Lotto (two rounds) · Thunderball 8.15pm · Irish Lotto · SA LOTTO · Saturday Lotto · Lotto 6/49 |
| Every day | Daily Million 2pm and 9pm (Irish time) · SA Daily LOTTO, results from 21h00 (not on Christmas Day) |
The Irish Lotto added its Monday draw from 7 September 2026. South African draw days are as reported after the 2026 operator change; the official site confirmed results from 21h00 and sales closing at 20h40. LottaGo doesn't list a draw time for UK Lotto or Lotto 6/49 because none was confirmed on an official page.
"Lotto results" means a different game in each country
The same search finds different draws depending on where you are:
- UK: the National Lottery's Lotto, 6 numbers from 1–59 plus a Bonus Ball, drawn in two rounds every Wednesday and Saturday. See Lotto results (UK).
- Ireland: the Irish Lotto, 6 from 1–45 plus a bonus number, on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. See Irish Lotto results.
- South Africa: the National Lottery's LOTTO, 6 from 1–52 plus a Bonus Ball, on Wednesday and Saturday. See SA Lotto results.
- Australia: usually Saturday Lotto from The Lott, 6 from 1–45 plus two supplementary numbers. See Saturday Lotto results.
For the big US games, open Powerball numbers (listed on LottaGo as PowerJack) or Mega Millions winning numbers. In Europe, EuroMillions results appear after every Tuesday and Friday draw.
What the extra numbers on a results page mean
Most draws have two parts: main numbers from the big pool, and one or more extra numbers. The extra numbers work differently from game to game.
Bonus Ball and bonus number
In UK Lotto, the Irish Lotto, Daily Million and SA LOTTO, you choose main numbers only. An extra ball is then drawn after the main numbers, and it counts only toward lower prizes. In the Irish Lotto, for example, 2 numbers plus the bonus pays a fixed €4. On LottaGo the bonus appears after the main numbers.
Lucky Stars and Euro numbers
In EuroMillions you pick 2 Lucky Stars from 1–12 yourself, alongside 5 main numbers from 1–50. They count toward the jackpot and many prize tiers, so check them separately.
Powerball, Mega Ball and Thunderball
These come from a second, separate pool that you pick from: the red Powerball (1–26) in the US game, the PowerBall (1–16) in South Africa, the gold Mega Ball (1–24) and the Thunderball (1–14). The jackpot needs all main numbers plus this ball. In US Powerball, the red ball alone already wins $4. See also PowerBall results for South Africa and Thunderball results for the UK.
Supplementary numbers (Australia)
Oz Lotto draws 3 supplementary numbers after its 7 main numbers, and Saturday Lotto draws 2 after its 6. They are not part of the main line. The Lott's prize divisions show which matches they count toward.
How to check whether your ticket has won
- Match the game and the date. A ticket for one draw can't win another, and UK Lotto tickets play both rounds of the same night.
- Count the main numbers you matched, in any order.
- Check the extra numbers separately: the bonus ball, Lucky Stars, Powerball or supplementaries.
- Open the prize breakdown on that lottery's results page. Where the data partner provides it, it shows each match level, the number of winners and the prize per winner for the latest draw.
- Confirm with the operator or retailer. LottaGo's results come from an official data partner, but the operator's results and your ticket decide a claim. For tickets bought through LottaGo's official partner, the partner pays out any prize under its own terms; LottaGo earns a commission on those purchases.
Past results and patterns
Each results page lists the last 60 draws with their dates, newest first, which answers "what were the numbers on…" questions for recent dates. Daily games such as Daily Million and SA Daily LOTTO fill that archive fastest. To see how often each number has come up, open the lottery's statistics tab, or the most drawn numbers across the big games. Past results describe what happened; they don't change the odds of the next draw.
Frequently asked questions
What lottery is on tonight?
It depends on the day. Daily Million and SA Daily LOTTO draw every day. On Monday, Wednesday and Saturday, add US Powerball and the Irish Lotto. Tuesday and Friday bring EuroMillions, Mega Millions and SA PowerBall. Wednesday and Saturday are also UK Lotto, SA LOTTO and Lotto 6/49 nights, Thunderball draws on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, and Australia has Oz Lotto on Tuesday, Powerball on Thursday and Saturday Lotto on Saturday.
When are lottery results published?
Results appear on LottaGo shortly after each draw, once LottaGo's official data partner sends them. Draw times vary: Irish Lotto at 7.55pm, Thunderball at 8pm or 8.15pm UK time, US Powerball at 10:59pm ET, and South Africa's National Lottery publishes its results from 21h00. The prize breakdown can arrive later than the numbers, because operators need time to count the winners.
What does the bonus ball mean?
A bonus ball is an extra number drawn after the main numbers in games such as UK Lotto, the Irish Lotto and SA LOTTO. You don't pick it separately: it counts if it matches one of the numbers on your line, and it only affects lower prize tiers. In the Irish Lotto, 2 main numbers plus the bonus pays a fixed €4. It is different from a Powerball or Thunderball, which you pick yourself from a separate pool.
How do I check if my lottery ticket has won?
Open the right game on LottaGo, pick the draw date printed on your ticket, and count how many main numbers you matched, then the extra numbers. The prize breakdown on the results page shows which match levels paid a prize in the latest draw. Before claiming, confirm the result with the lottery operator or the retailer that sold the ticket, because their records are final.
