When Irish Lotto results are published

Irish Lotto is drawn three times a week: on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. The draw is livestreamed at 7:55pm Irish time, after sales close at 7:45pm. LottaGo receives the winning numbers from its official data partner once the draw is complete and updates this page straight away.

The Monday draw only started on 7 September 2026. Before then, Irish Lotto results came out on Wednesdays and Saturdays only, so the archive below shows two draws a week up to early September 2026 and three a week after that.

Reading the Irish Lotto prize breakdown

The table at the top of the page covers the most recent draw:

Irish Lotto has 8 prize tiers. The jackpot row is 6 matched numbers; the lowest winning matches are 3 numbers, or 2 numbers plus the bonus. Prize amounts in the middle tiers depend on sales and the number of winners, so they change from draw to draw. The figures come from LottaGo's data partner, and the operator's figures are final.

How to check your Irish Lotto ticket

Match each line on your ticket against the six main numbers of the right draw date. The order of the numbers does not matter. If a line has 2 to 5 matches, check the bonus number too, because it moves some matches up a tier. Then find the tier in the prize breakdown.

If your ticket includes Lotto Plus, the same lines also need checking against the Lotto Plus 1 and Lotto Plus 2 draws on the official site. All prizes are claimed from Ireland's National Lottery, never through LottaGo: see the operator's Lotto page for how to claim.

Irish Lotto now uses 45 numbers: players choose 6 from 1 to 45, and 6 main numbers plus a bonus number are drawn. The pool was 1 to 47 until 3 September 2026. Draws before that date in the archive come from the old 47-ball game.

Who owns the Irish Lotto?

The Irish Lotto is a game of Ireland's National Lottery. The National Lottery is operated by Premier Lotteries Ireland DAC, which holds the operating licence until 2034. Premier Lotteries Ireland also runs Daily Million and sells EuroMillions in Ireland. LottaGo is independent of the operator: it shows results and statistics, and prizes are always claimed from the National Lottery.
