When are Mega Millions results published?

Mega Millions is drawn every Tuesday and Friday at 11:00 pm ET at WSB-TV in Atlanta, Georgia. LottaGo adds the winning numbers once its data partner publishes them, and the prize breakdown appears as soon as the partner provides it. So if you are looking for "Mega Millions numbers last night" on a Wednesday or Saturday, the latest drawing at the top of this page is the one you want. There is no Monday, Wednesday or Saturday drawing; those nights belong to Powerball.

How to read the Mega Millions prize breakdown

The prize table lists each winning tier of the latest drawing:

• Matched shows white balls + Mega Ball, from 5 + 1 (the jackpot) down to 0 + 1, a Mega Ball only.
• Winners is the number of winning plays our data partner reports for that tier.
• Prize is the amount per winning play, before tax.

Mega Millions has 9 prize tiers. Since April 8, 2025, every $5 play carries a random 2X, 3X, 4X, 5X or 10X multiplier that applies to all non-jackpot prizes. Your own payout therefore depends on the multiplier on your ticket. A Mega Ball-only match, for example, pays $10 to $50. If a figure here differs from your state lottery's, the lottery's figure is final.

How to check your Mega Millions ticket

1. Find the drawing date on your ticket.
2. Find that date in the list of past drawings above.
3. Count matching white balls, then check the Mega Ball separately.
4. Look up your match, for example 3 + 1, in the prize breakdown, and apply your ticket's multiplier to any non-jackpot prize.

Winning tickets are claimed through the state lottery that sold them, not through LottaGo. The official game site is megamillions.com. If you bought through LottaGo's partner, the partner handles the prize. Keep the ticket safe until you are paid.
