What the LottaGo AI Agent looks at, how it builds five lines, and an honest check of how well it works.
- 1Reads every draw
All past draws of the lottery under its current rules: frequencies, gaps, pairs, sums, odd/even balance.
- 2Weighs the numbers
Each number gets a weight from several angles: recent momentum, long gaps, steady frequency, and typical draw shape.
- 3Builds five lines
Five different lines, each with the reason it was picked in plain words. New lines on every visit.
- 4Checks itself
A walk-forward test on the last 150 draws compares every strategy with a random pick. The result is shown openly.

A lottery number generator that explains its picks
The LottaGo AI Agent is a free lottery number generator built on draw history. For each lottery it reads every past draw under the current rules and gives you five lines for the next draw, each from a different strategy and each with a plain reason. Press "New lines" for a fresh set. The lines are a selection from past results, not a prediction: every line, including a random quick pick, has the same chance of winning.
How are the 5 lines chosen?
The AI Agent scores every number in a lottery from several angles on its past draws: recent momentum, long gaps, steady frequency and the usual shape of a draw. Each of the five lines takes one angle, and the reason printed under it lists the numbers it picked.
- Top overall. The numbers with the highest combined score across all angles.
- Momentum. The hottest numbers over the last 100 draws.
- Due numbers. Numbers that have gone longest without being drawn. Long gaps are normal in a random draw; this line simply collects them.
- Steady numbers. Numbers that come up often both over the long run and recently.
- Balanced line. High-scoring numbers arranged so that the line's sum sits in the middle half of past draws, like most winning lines.
If the AI Agent can't be reached, the page shows five statistical lines instead: hot numbers, overdue numbers, all-time leaders, typical shape and frequent pairs. Those five statistical strategies are also the ones the backtest below checks.
You can save a line, change any number by hand on the ticket screen, or copy it. Lines are made per game, so Powerball lines use 5 white balls from 1–69 plus a red ball from 1–26, EuroMillions lines use 5 numbers plus 2 Lucky Stars, and Daily Lotto lines use 5 numbers from 1–36.
Is a lottery number generator better than a quick pick?
No, and neither is worse. A quick pick is a random line printed by the lottery terminal or app when you don't choose your own numbers. A random number generator does the same thing on a website. The AI Agent differs only in that its lines follow rules you can read, such as "these were the hottest numbers in the last 100 draws".
The chance of the jackpot stays exactly the same for every line in a game. In Powerball it is 1 in 292,201,338 whether the line came from a quick pick, a birthday, a random number generator or the AI Agent. So pick the method you enjoy. The guide quick pick or your own numbers? covers the one real difference: popular patterns, such as lines made only of birthdays, are more likely to be shared if they win.
The backtest: an honest check
Every lottery page on LottaGo shows a walk-forward backtest over up to the last 150 draws. For each of those draws, each of the five statistical strategies builds 3 lines using only the draws that came before it, as it would have at the time. LottaGo then counts how many numbers each line matched and sets the result next to the theoretical average for random picks. Games that changed their rules recently have fewer draws to test: for the Irish Lotto and South Africa's LOTTO and PowerBall, the backtest covers only a handful of draws for now.
The result is the same across lotteries: the strategies perform like random picks. Over any stretch some sit a little above random and some a little below, and the gaps are the size chance alone produces.
For scale, a random Powerball line matches on average 5 × 5 ÷ 69 ≈ 0.36 white balls per draw, a EuroMillions line 5 × 5 ÷ 50 = 0.5 main numbers, and a Daily Lotto line 5 × 5 ÷ 36 ≈ 0.69 numbers. A strategy that could really predict draws would beat those figures clearly over 150 draws. None does. The guide on what the backtest shows about hot numbers walks through the live tables.
Lucky numbers and "predictions": what is and isn't possible
People search for "lucky numbers for today" or "lottery numbers for today" hoping for a line with a better chance tonight. No such line exists. Each draw is an independent random event: the balls have no memory of past draws, and a number that came up yesterday is exactly as likely tonight as one that hasn't appeared for months.
So, can a website generate lucky numbers? It can generate numbers, and the AI Agent does, five lines at a time. What no generator can honestly do is make them luckier. If a number means something to you, a birthday or a house number, play it: it has the same odds as any other. If you'd rather not choose, an AI Agent line or a quick pick saves you the time and comes with the same chance.
Honest limits
- No prediction. Past frequencies, gaps and pairs don't influence the next draw. The AI Agent says so on every lottery page.
- Same odds for every line. An AI Agent line, a quick pick and your own numbers all have identical odds in the same game.
- Short histories after rule changes. When a game changes its format, the AI Agent counts only draws under the new rules. Ireland's Lotto moved to a 1–45 pool in September 2026, so its patterns rest on few draws for now.
- Not advice. Treat a ticket as entertainment with a set budget. Lotteries are for adults (18+).
On lotteries marked "on sale", a line can be taken to LottaGo's official partner with the "Buy ticket" button, where available. LottaGo earns a commission on those purchases, and that commission has no effect on which lines the AI Agent builds.
Frequently asked questions
Can the AI Agent predict the winning numbers?
No. Lottery draws are random, so no person or program can predict them. The AI Agent selects five lines from patterns in a lottery's past draws and explains each choice. LottaGo checks the statistical strategies behind those lines with a walk-forward backtest over up to the last 150 draws, and they match about as often as random picks. The lines are a way to explore the draw history, not a forecast of the next result.
What is a lotto quick pick?
A quick pick (also searched as "lucky dip" or "Kwik Pik") is a line of numbers chosen at random by the lottery's terminal or app instead of by you. It costs the same as a line you choose yourself and has exactly the same chance of winning. An AI Agent line differs only in where the numbers come from: you copy it onto your play slip or ticket like any numbers you chose yourself.
What are the lucky numbers for today?
There are no lucky numbers for a particular day. Every number in a lottery has the same chance in every draw, so today's draw is no different from yesterday's. What LottaGo can give you is today's AI Agent lines for each lottery, built from past draws and refreshed on every visit, with the reason for each pick. They have the same odds as any other line.
Can you give me six lucky numbers?
Yes: open the lottery you play and the AI Agent shows five ready-made lines in that game's format, for example 6 numbers from 1–45 for the Irish Lotto or 5 numbers from 1–36 for Daily Lotto. Press "New lines" for more. Every line has the same chance, so if none appeals, a quick pick or numbers that mean something to you are just as good.
