Latest Powerball Australia results
The latest Powerball Australia draw on record took place on Oct 8, 2026. The winning numbers were 7, 8, 10, 12, 15, 19, 20, 7; the last number in that list is the Powerball. Prizes paid per division for that draw are in the prize breakdown above, and the next draw is on Oct 15, 2026.
Powerball Australia is drawn every Thursday night, so this page changes once a week, shortly after the draw.
When Powerball results are published
The Lott draws Powerball every Thursday evening after 7:30pm AEST. LottaGo's official data partner sends the winning numbers once the draw is complete, and the prize-per-division figures follow when the partner provides them. One draw serves the whole country, so Powerball results in QLD, NSW, Victoria, WA, SA, Tasmania and the territories are the same numbers.
How to read the prize breakdown
The prize breakdown table lists the divisions for the latest draw:
- Matched – the combination for that division, written as main numbers plus Powerball. "7 + 1 Powerball" is Division 1; a row such as "2 + 1 Powerball" means two main numbers and the Powerball.
- Winners – the number of winning entries in that division across Australia. This answers searches like "Powerball winners tonight".
- Prize per winner – the dividend paid to each winning entry, before any tax.
A Division 1 row showing 0 winners means the jackpot was not won that week. Dividends below Division 1 vary with sales and the number of winners, so they differ from week to week. The figures come from LottaGo's data partner; The Lott's official dividends are final. If you played a system entry, your dividends depend on how many standard games it contains, and The Lott's system tables decide what you receive.
Past Powerball Australia draws
The archive under the prize table shows the last 60 Thursday draws, newest first, with the date, the 7 winning numbers, the Powerball and the advertised jackpot. At one draw a week that is a little over a year of results, so you can look up a draw by its date, such as 6/8/26 or 3/9/26. LottaGo lists draws by date rather than by The Lott's draw number. The most drawn Powerball Australia numbers are counted from the full history under the current format.
How to check your Powerball ticket
Check each game on your ticket against the 7 winning numbers, then check the Powerball separately. Order does not matter. Count your main-number matches and note whether you have the Powerball; together they give your division. Then find that row in the prize breakdown.
For an official check, scan or enter your ticket with The Lott, which also handles all prize claims. LottaGo does not pay prizes. Powerball Australia results FAQ
Is Powerball Australia-wide?
Yes. Powerball is a national game run by The Lott, and one draw serves every state and territory. A ticket bought in Queensland and one bought in Victoria are checked against the same winning numbers and the same Powerball, and dividends are calculated nationally.
How much is Powerball this Thursday?
The advertised Division 1 jackpot for the next draw, on Oct 15, 2026, is A$100,000,000. LottaGo updates the figure after every Thursday draw. Entry prices are set by The Lott and are not quoted here, because we have not verified them on an official page.
Is Powerball televised?
We could not confirm a current TV broadcast for the Powerball draw on an official page, so we don't name a channel. The Lott publishes the results on its website after the Thursday draw, and LottaGo shows them on this page as soon as its data partner sends them.
Is Powerball gambling?
Yes. Powerball is a lottery, which is a form of gambling: you pay for an entry and the result is decided purely by chance. It is for adults only (18+). Set a budget you can afford to lose, and remember that no number choice improves the 1 in 134,490,400 Division 1 odds.
What time are Powerball Australia results published?
The Thursday draw takes place after 7:30pm AEST, and the winning numbers usually reach this page shortly afterwards. Prize-per-division figures may take a little longer, because they depend on the count of winning entries.
