Does this work? An honest check
Every draw is an independent random event: every line has the same chance of the top prize, 1 in 134,490,400. The AI Agent’s lines are a selection based on past draws, not a forecast.
Uniformity test (χ²): main numbers p = 0.929, Powerball p = 0.239. With p above 0.05 the differences in frequency look like ordinary random noise.
Backtest on the last 150 draws: for each draw every strategy picked numbers from earlier history only (3 lines per draw), then matches were counted.
| Strategy | Avg. matches (of 7) | Powerball matched | 3+ matches |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hot numbers | 1.387 | 4.7% | 10.22% |
| Overdue numbers | 1.333 | 6% | 12.22% |
| All-time leaders | 1.391 | 6% | 12% |

Most common Powerball Australia numbers
Over 443 Powerball Australia draws since Apr 19, 2018, the most drawn main numbers are 9, 17, 7, 11, 18, and 14. The charts above count every main number from 1 to 35 and, separately, every Powerball from 1 to 20, with recent hits and the current gap for each.
The counts describe past Thursdays only. The next draw gives every combination the same 1 in 134,490,400 chance of Division 1.
Two barrels, two sets of statistics
Powerball Australia draws from two barrels, so LottaGo keeps two frequency charts. The main barrel has 35 numbers and 7 come out each week, so any main number has a 7 in 35 chance, exactly 20%, of being drawn. The Powerball barrel has 20 numbers and 1 comes out, a 5% chance each.
That difference matters when you read the charts. Over 100 draws you would expect each main number about 20 times but each Powerball only about 5 times. With such small expected counts, a Powerball drawn 9 times and another drawn twice is unremarkable. Counts start from the first draw under the current 7 + 1 format, so older draws with a different matrix don't distort them.
Hot, cold and overdue numbers explained
Hits in the last 100 draws
The recent view counts how often each number came up in the last 100 Thursday draws, nearly two years of play. The "Hot" panel lists the leaders. Expect each main number around 20 times; a number on 26 or 27 is at the high end of the normal range, not on a streak.
Gap: draws since a number last appeared
"Gap" is the number of draws since a number last came up, and the "Overdue" panel lists the longest gaps. Main numbers come up every 5 draws on average, so long main-number gaps are rare but do happen. Powerballs reappear every 20 draws on average, and a Powerball missing for 40 or 50 weeks is still within normal variation: across 20 Powerballs, one or two are usually that far behind.
Pairs, sums and odd/even balance
Frequent pairs lists main numbers that have come out together most often. With 7 numbers drawn, any given pair has about a 3.5% chance per draw, so pairs build up faster than in six-ball games. Sum of 7 numbers and odd / even show what typical draws look like: sums cluster around the middle and splits such as 4 odd / 3 even are frequent because many combinations produce them.
Is Powerball Australia random? What the χ² test shows
LottaGo runs a χ² (chi-squared) uniformity test on both barrels. The test asks whether the gap between the most and least drawn numbers is bigger than chance would produce, and it reports a p-value for the main numbers and one for the Powerball. A p-value above 0.05 means the spread looks like ordinary randomness. Both values are in the "Does this work? An honest check" panel above.
Do hot or overdue numbers help? The backtest
LottaGo replayed each AI Agent strategy over the last 150 draws, picking 3 lines per draw from earlier history only and counting the matches, Powerball included. Hot numbers, overdue numbers, all-time leaders and frequent pairs all performed like random picks. The full table is in the same honest check. For the reasoning, read do hot and cold numbers work?
Powerball Australia statistics FAQ
Which Powerball Australia numbers are drawn the most?
Since Apr 19, 2018, the most drawn Powerball Australia main numbers are 9, 17, 7, 11, 18, and 14, from 443 draws. The Powerball has its own chart above. These rankings shift a little every Thursday and say nothing about the next draw. The individual draws are listed under past Powerball Australia draws.
What Powerball ticket wins the most?
No ticket is more likely to win than another. Every Powerball Australia game has the same 1 in 134,490,400 chance of Division 1, whether it uses hot numbers, a birthday or a quick pick. The only way to hold more chances is to hold more games, which costs more. How much a win pays can differ: popular number patterns are more likely to be shared with other winners.
Are overdue numbers more likely to be drawn?
No. The barrels are complete again for every draw, so a number missing for 20 weeks has the same 7 in 35 chance as last week's numbers, and an overdue Powerball keeps its 1 in 20. The backtest confirms that overdue-number lines do no better than random ones.
Is Powerball Australia rigged, or are the draws random?
Nothing in LottaGo's data points to a pattern. The χ² tests compare both barrels with equal chances, and the backtest shows that history-based strategies match no more often than random picks. These checks examine published results, not the draw equipment. Compare with the most drawn numbers in other lotteries.
