Does this work? An honest check
Every draw is an independent random event: every line has the same chance of the top prize, 1 in 376,992. The AI Agent’s lines are a selection based on past draws, not a forecast.
Uniformity test (χ²): main numbers p = 0.775. With p above 0.05 the differences in frequency look like ordinary random noise.
Backtest on the last 150 draws: for each draw every strategy picked numbers from earlier history only (3 lines per draw), then matches were counted.
| Strategy | Avg. matches (of 5) | 3+ matches |
|---|---|---|
| Hot numbers | 0.72 | 0.89% |
| Overdue numbers | 0.649 | 0.22% |
| All-time leaders | 0.702 | 0.67% |
| Typical shape | 0.687 | 0.67% |
| Frequent pairs | 0.713 | 1.11% |
| Random pick (theory) | 0.694 | 1.27% |
Most drawn Daily Lotto numbers
The most common Daily Lotto numbers are 10, 14, 4, 25, 28, and 11, counted over 1,770 draws since Dec 1, 2021, the first draw in LottaGo's Daily Lotto record. The 5-from-36 format hasn't changed in that time, so every draw counts. The charts above show the hits for all 36 numbers.
These counts describe the past. In every draw, each number from 1 to 36 has the same 5 in 36 chance (about 13.9%) of coming up, however often it has been drawn before.
What the Daily Lotto statistics on this page count
- Total hits: how often each number has been drawn since Dec 1, 2021. The dashed line is the count you would expect if all 36 numbers were equally likely: the number of draws × 5 ÷ 36.
- Last 100 draws: hits in the most recent 100 draws, about three months of nightly play. Each number is expected about 100 × 5 ÷ 36 ≈ 13.9 times. The Hot panel lists the leaders here.
- Gap: the number of draws since a number last came up. The Overdue panel lists the longest gaps.
Hot, cold and overdue numbers: why long gaps are normal
A Daily Lotto number turns up on average once every 36 ÷ 5 = 7.2 draws. Long gaps are still common. The chance that one particular number misses 20 draws in a row is (31 ÷ 36)²⁰, about 5%. With 36 numbers in play, one or two of them are usually on a run like that at any moment, and that is what the Overdue panel shows.
Missing 30 draws in a row is rarer, (31 ÷ 36)³⁰ ≈ 1.1% for a given number, but across a record of 1,770 draws it still happens again and again. A long gap doesn't make a number "due". The balls have no memory, so expecting a cold number to catch up is the gambler's fallacy.
Common pairs, triplets and the "most common five numbers"
The Frequent pairs panel shows the two numbers drawn together most often. Any given pair appears in a Daily Lotto draw with a chance of C(34,3) ÷ C(36,5) = 5,984 ÷ 376,992, about 1 in 63. There are 630 possible pairs, so over 1,770 draws the leading pairs will always sit well above the average purely by chance.
Triplets and quadruplets are much rarer, which is why their "most common" lists are mostly coincidence:
| Group | Possible groups | Chance in one draw |
|---|---|---|
| Pair | 630 | about 1 in 63 |
| Triplet | 7,140 | about 1 in 714 |
| Four numbers | 58,905 | about 1 in 11,781 |
| All five | 376,992 | 1 in 376,992 |
The "most common five numbers" barely exist as a statistic: with 376,992 possible boards, almost every combination has been drawn once or never. A few exact repeats are expected by chance, about N × (N − 1) ÷ 2 ÷ 376,992 over N draws, or roughly 4 for the 1,770 draws in LottaGo's record in October 2026.
Sums and odd/even balance
The sum adds up the 5 numbers of each draw. In theory the average is 5 × 37 ÷ 2 = 92.5, and sums near the middle are the most common, because far more boards add up to 90 than to 20 or 170. The odd/even chart counts odd numbers per draw. With 18 odd and 18 even numbers, a draw has 2 or 3 odd numbers about 66% of the time.
Neither shape helps you win: a board of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 has the same 1 in 376,992 chance as a "typical" one.
Is Daily Lotto random? The χ² test and the backtest
The honest check panel above answers this with two tests. The χ² (chi-squared) uniformity test compares how often each number has been drawn with how often it should have been if all were equally likely. Its p-value is the chance of a spread at least this uneven in a fair draw: above 0.05, the differences look like ordinary random noise. A value below 0.05 can still happen by chance, so it isn't a signal to bet on.
The backtest checks whether the statistics can be used. For each of the last 150 draws, every AI Agent strategy picked 3 lines using only the draws before it, and their matches were counted. Hot numbers, overdue numbers, all-time leaders, frequent pairs and typical shape all perform like random picks, which match 5 × 5 ÷ 36 ≈ 0.69 numbers per draw on average. The AI Agent lines for Daily Lotto come from the same strategies.
Using Daily Lotto statistics for fun
Picking from the hot or overdue list is fine if you enjoy it, as long as the budget is set first: every choice has the same odds. Do hot and cold numbers work? explains why, the past Daily Lotto draws show any night's numbers, and the most drawn numbers in other lotteries are counted the same way. Daily Lotto is for adults (18+).
Daily Lotto statistics FAQ
Which Daily Lotto numbers are drawn the most?
Since Dec 1, 2021, the most drawn Daily Lotto numbers are 10, 14, 4, 25, 28, and 11, counted over 1,770 draws. Each number is expected about once every 7.2 draws, and the leaders sit only a little above that. The order shifts as new draws come in every night, so treat the list as history, not a forecast.
Are overdue Daily Lotto numbers more likely to be drawn?
No. An overdue number has exactly the same 5 in 36 chance in the next draw as every other number. Long gaps are normal: any one number misses 20 draws in a row about 5% of the time. LottaGo's backtest shows that lines built from overdue numbers match about as often as random picks.
Is Daily Lotto rigged, or are the draws random?
LottaGo's data shows no sign of bias. The χ² uniformity test on this page checks whether some numbers come up more often than chance allows, and a p-value above 0.05 means the counts fit a fair draw. The backtest points the same way: no strategy built from past draws beats random picks.
Are there Daily Lotto hot numbers for today?
The Hot panel shows the numbers drawn most often in the last 100 draws, but it isn't a prediction for tonight's draw. Nobody can predict Daily Lotto numbers. If you want a ready-made board, the AI Agent builds five from the statistics, each with the same 1 in 376,992 chance as any other.
