Does this work? An honest check
Every draw is an independent random event: every line has the same chance of the top prize, 1 in 62,891,499. The AI Agent’s lines are a selection based on past draws, not a forecast.
Uniformity test (χ²): main numbers p = 0.869. With p above 0.05 the differences in frequency look like ordinary random noise.
Backtest on the last 129 draws: for each draw every strategy picked numbers from earlier history only (3 lines per draw), then matches were counted.
| Strategy | Avg. matches (of 7) | 3+ matches |

Most drawn Oz Lotto numbers
Over 229 draws since May 24, 2022, when LottaGo's count of the current 7-from-47 game begins, the most drawn Oz Lotto numbers are 21, 30, 47, 17, 4, and 39. They tell you what happened, not what will happen: every number from 1 to 47 has the same chance next Tuesday, and Division 1 stays at 1 in 62,891,499.
How the Oz Lotto frequency chart is counted
The frequency chart counts how often each of the 47 numbers has been one of the 7 winning numbers. The 3 supplementary numbers are not counted, because they do not work like winning numbers for Division 1.
With 7 numbers drawn from 47, each number should come up in about 7 ÷ 47, or 14.9%, of draws. The dashed line on the chart is that expectation: draws × 7 ÷ 47. A few numbers will always sit well above the line and a few well below. With a few hundred weekly draws, that spread is what chance alone produces.
Hot, cold and overdue numbers explained
Hits in the last 100 draws
The "last 100 draws" view covers roughly the last two years of Tuesdays. With equal chances, each number should appear about 15 times in 100 draws (100 × 7 ÷ 47 ≈ 14.9). Numbers with 22 or 23 hits get called "hot" and numbers with 8 or 9 "cold". Both are well within normal variation for a sample of this size.
Gap: draws since a number last appeared
The gap is the number of Tuesdays since a number was last among the seven winning numbers. With 7 of 47 drawn each week, the average gap is about 7 draws (47 ÷ 7 ≈ 6.7). A gap of 25 draws, almost six months, looks dramatic but happens regularly by chance. "Overdue" is just another name for a long gap.
Pairs, sums and odd/even balance
- Pairs: an Oz Lotto draw contains 21 pairs (C(7,2) = 21), out of 1,081 possible pairs from 1–47. The frequent pairs table shows which pairs have turned up together most. With over a thousand candidates, some pairs will always lead.
- Sums: the seven winning numbers add up to 168 on average (7 × 24). The sum chart shows the band where half of all past draws fall.
- Odd/even: 24 numbers are odd and 23 even. By our calculation, 4 odd + 3 even is the most likely split (about 30% of draws), just ahead of 3 odd + 4 even (about 28.5%). A draw of seven odd numbers happens only about 0.6% of the time.
These patterns describe typical draws. A line that matches the typical shape is not more likely to win: every one of the 62,891,499 combinations has the same chance.
Is Oz Lotto random? What the χ² test shows
The χ² test compares the count for every number with the expected line and asks whether the total difference is bigger than chance usually produces. It returns a p-value:
- Above 0.05: the counts look like ordinary random variation.
- Below 0.05: the spread is unusual. Even a perfectly fair draw ends up there about once in 20 tests, and the result says nothing about which numbers come next.
The current p-value for Oz Lotto sits beside the charts. People ask "is Oz Lotto rigged?" and this is the evidence LottaGo can offer: a test on the published results. The drawing equipment and procedures are The Lott's responsibility, and LottaGo cannot inspect them.
Do hot or overdue numbers help? The backtest
To test the hot-and-overdue idea properly, we ran a walk-forward backtest over the last 150 Oz Lotto draws. Before each draw, every strategy picked 3 lines using only earlier results. Then we counted the matches against random lines.
The full comparison table is in the "honest check" panel above, and it updates after every draw.
Hot numbers, overdue numbers, all-time leaders, typical shape and frequent pairs all match about as often as random picks. Our guide do hot and cold numbers work? explains why this happens in every lottery. If you like picking from history anyway, the AI Agent lines for Oz Lotto build five lines from these statistics and explain each one. You can check exact dates in the past Oz Lotto draws, or compare with the most drawn numbers in other lotteries.
Oz Lotto statistics FAQ
Which Oz Lotto numbers are drawn the most?
The most drawn Oz Lotto winning numbers are currently 21, 30, 47, 17, 4, and 39, counted over 229 draws since May 24, 2022. Supplementary numbers are not counted. The ranking updates after every Tuesday draw, and it can change quickly with only one draw a week. Leading the chart means a number has come up more often in the past, not that it is more likely next.
Are overdue numbers more likely to be drawn?
No. Each Tuesday, every number has the same 7-in-47 chance of being a winning number, however long it has been missing. Expecting a long-absent number to "catch up" is the gambler's fallacy. Our 150-draw backtest shows overdue-number lines matching no more often than random lines.
Is Oz Lotto rigged, or are the draws random?
LottaGo's χ² test checks whether the spread of Oz Lotto results fits a fair random draw. A p-value above 0.05 means the counts look like normal chance variation, and the current value is shown on this page. The test covers the published numbers only. It cannot audit The Lott's equipment or procedures.
Is there an Oz Lotto hot numbers prediction for tonight?
No honest one. Statistics describe past draws, and a fair draw has no memory. Any line, hot, cold or random, has the same 1 in 62,891,499 Division 1 chance tonight.
