Does this work? An honest check
Every draw is an independent random event: every line has the same chance of the top prize, 1 in 8,145,060. The AI Agent’s lines are a selection based on past draws, not a forecast.
Uniformity test (χ²): main numbers p = 0.836. With p above 0.05 the differences in frequency look like ordinary random noise.
Backtest on the last 150 draws: for each draw every strategy picked numbers from earlier history only (3 lines per draw), then matches were counted.

Most common Saturday Lotto numbers
Across 458 Saturday Lotto draws in LottaGo's data since Jan 6, 2018, the most drawn winning numbers are 8, 10, 1, 11, 42, and 17. The charts above cover every number from 1 to 45, with total hits, hits in the last 100 draws and the current gap. The counts use the six winning numbers of each draw. They show what has happened, not what will happen next Saturday.
What a fair count looks like for 1–45
Each Saturday Lotto draw takes 6 winning numbers out of 45, so any one number has a 6 in 45 chance, about 1 in 7.5, of being among them. Over 458 draws a fair game should give each number roughly 458 × 6 ÷ 45 hits.
The dashed line on the frequency chart marks that expected count. Real counts scatter around it. With 45 numbers and a few hundred draws, the leader and the least drawn number can easily be 20 or 30 hits apart in a perfectly fair game. Saturday Lotto has only one draw a week, about 52 a year, so its tables move more slowly than a game drawn four times a week, but each new draw still reshuffles the order at the edges.
Hot, cold and overdue numbers explained
Hits in the last 100 draws
The hot panel ranks numbers by hits in the last 100 draws, almost two years of Saturdays. In 100 draws, each number is expected about 13 times. A number on 18 or 19 has had a good run. The barrel does not remember it.
Gap: draws since a number last appeared
The gap counts how many draws have passed since a number was last among the six winning numbers. With equal chances, the average gap is about 7 or 8 draws. The "overdue" panel lists the longest current gaps. A number that has been missing for 30 Saturdays still has the same chance next week as any other. Expecting it to be due is the gambler's fallacy.
Pairs, sums and odd/even balance
- Frequent pairs shows which two numbers have been drawn together most often. With 990 possible pairs, each pair is expected only a handful of times, so the top pairs are mostly luck.
- Sum of 6 numbers adds up each draw's winning numbers. Most sums fall in the middle of the range because there are far more ways to make a middle total.
- Odd / even counts odd numbers per draw. Three odd and three even is the single most common split, with 2–4 and 4–2 close behind.
These shapes explain why 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 looks unusual. It still has exactly the same 1 in 8,145,060 chance as any other game.
Is Saturday Lotto random? What the χ² test shows
LottaGo runs a χ² (chi-squared) uniformity test on the counts. In plain words, it asks: "If every number from 1 to 45 had the same chance, how surprising is this spread of hits?" The answer is a p-value. A p-value above 0.05 means the differences look like ordinary random variation. The current result is shown in the "Does this work? An honest check" panel above. The draws are run by The Lott, not by LottaGo.
Do hot or overdue numbers help? The backtest
LottaGo put its own strategies to the test. In a walk-forward backtest over the last 150 draws, each AI Agent strategy (hot numbers, overdue numbers, all-time leaders, typical shape, frequent pairs) picked 3 lines per draw from earlier results only. They matched about as often as random lines. Our guide do hot and cold numbers work? explains why with examples from other games.
Treat these statistics as a bit of fun: a way to pick a theme or settle a debate about "lucky" numbers, not a reason to spend more. To look up a draw by date, use past Saturday Lotto draws. For other games, see the most drawn numbers in other lotteries.
Saturday Lotto statistics FAQ
Which Saturday Lotto numbers are drawn the most?
In LottaGo's data since Jan 6, 2018, the most drawn Saturday Lotto winning numbers are 8, 10, 1, 11, 42, and 17, counted over 458 draws. The ranking can change after any Saturday. The frequency chart shows how close the leaders are to the expected count for every number from 1 to 45.
Are overdue Saturday Lotto numbers more likely to be drawn?
No. Each draw is independent of the ones before it. A number that has not been drawn for many weeks has the same 6 in 45 chance of being among the winning numbers next Saturday as every other number. LottaGo's backtest found overdue picks matched no more often than random games.
Is Saturday Lotto rigged, or are the draws random?
The data looks random. LottaGo's χ² test compares how often each number has been drawn with what a fair draw would produce. A p-value above 0.05 means the differences are within ordinary chance. The draws are conducted by The Lott; LottaGo only records and counts the results.
