Does this work? An honest check
Every draw is an independent random event: every line has the same chance of the top prize, 1 in 139,838,160. The AI Agent’s lines are a selection based on past draws, not a forecast.
Uniformity test (χ²): main numbers p = 0.54, Lucky Stars p = 0.225. With p above 0.05 the differences in frequency look like ordinary random noise.
Backtest on the last 150 draws: for each draw every strategy picked numbers from earlier history only (3 lines per draw), then matches were counted.

Most drawn EuroMillions numbers
Since Sep 27, 2016, across 1,048 EuroMillions draws, the most common main numbers are 42, 17, 29, 44, 10, and 23. The charts above show every number from 1 to 50 and every Lucky Star from 1 to 12, with hits, recent form and gaps. These counts describe what has already happened. They do not make any number more likely in the next draw.
What "expected" means for EuroMillions numbers
Each draw takes 5 main numbers out of 50, so any single number has a 1 in 10 chance of appearing. Over 1,048 draws, a fair draw should give each main number about 1,048 ÷ 10 hits. The Lucky Stars are 2 out of 12, so each star should come up in about one draw in six.
The dashed line on the frequency chart marks that expected count. Real results always scatter around it: some numbers sit a few hits above, some a few below. With 50 numbers and around a thousand draws, a spread of several dozen hits between the leader and the laggard is normal, even in a perfectly fair game. So the answer to "what EuroMillions numbers come up the most" changes from season to season.
Hot, cold and overdue numbers explained
Hits in the last 100 draws
The "hot" panel ranks numbers by how often they came up in the last 100 draws, about a year of Tuesday and Friday draws. In 100 draws each main number is expected about 10 times. A hot number might show 15 or 16. That is a description of recent luck, not momentum. The balls have no memory of earlier draws.
Gap: draws since a number last appeared
The gap counts draws since a number was last drawn. With equal chances, the average gap for a main number is about 10 draws, and for a Lucky Star about 6. "Overdue" numbers are simply those with the longest current gap. A number that has missed 40 draws still has the same 1 in 10 chance next time. Expecting it to be "due" is the gambler's fallacy.
Pairs, sums and odd/even balance
- Frequent pairs lists the two-number combinations drawn together most often. With 1,225 possible pairs, any given pair turns up rarely, so the top pairs owe a lot to chance.
- Sum of 5 numbers shows the total of each draw's main numbers. Most draws land near the middle of the range, because there are far more ways to make a middle sum than an extreme one.
- Odd / even shows how many odd main numbers each draw had. Splits of 2–3 and 3–2 are the most common because they have the most combinations.
These shapes help explain why lines such as 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 look strange. They have exactly the same 1 in 139,838,160 jackpot chance as any other line.
Is EuroMillions random? What the χ² test shows
LottaGo checks the counts with a χ² (chi-squared) uniformity test. In plain words, it asks: "If every number had the same chance, how surprising would this spread of hits be?" The answer is a p-value. A p-value above 0.05 means the spread looks like ordinary chance. That is the honest answer to "is EuroMillions rigged": the data shows nothing that a fair draw would not produce. The current p-values for main numbers and Lucky Stars are in the "Does this work? An honest check" panel above.
Do hot or overdue numbers help? The backtest
LottaGo tested this directly. In a walk-forward backtest over the last 150 draws, the AI Agent's strategies (hot numbers, overdue numbers, all-time leaders, typical shape and frequent pairs) each picked 3 lines per draw from earlier results only. They matched about as often as random lines. The full table is in the same panel above. The AI Agent lines for EuroMillions come from these strategies. Our guide do hot and cold numbers work? explains why with more examples.
Use the statistics for fun: to pick a theme, to spot a long gap, or to settle an argument about "unlucky" numbers. Do not use them to justify spending more. To check past draws by date, open past EuroMillions draws. For other games, see most drawn numbers in other lotteries.
EuroMillions statistics FAQ
Which EuroMillions numbers are drawn the most?
Since Sep 27, 2016, the most drawn EuroMillions main numbers are 42, 17, 29, 44, 10, and 23, counted over 1,048 draws under the current rules. The ranking can change after any Tuesday or Friday draw. The frequency chart on this page shows every number from 1 to 50 and every Lucky Star, so you can see how close the leaders are to the rest.
What EuroMillions numbers come up the most?
The leaders right now are 42, 17, 29, 44, 10, and 23, but the gaps between them and an average number are small. In a fair game, each main number is expected in about one draw in ten, and each Lucky Star in about one draw in six. Being the most common so far does not raise a number's chance in the next draw.
Are overdue EuroMillions numbers more likely to be drawn?
No. Each draw is independent, so a number that has not appeared for 30 or 40 draws has the same 1 in 10 chance as every other main number. The gap column shows how long a number has waited, not what will happen next. LottaGo's backtest found that overdue picks matched about as often as random lines.
Is EuroMillions rigged, or are the draws random?
The numbers look random. LottaGo's χ² test compares the hits of each number with the count a fair draw would give. A p-value above 0.05 means the differences look like normal chance. The draws are run by the operators, including Allwyn in the UK and Premier Lotteries Ireland, not by LottaGo.
