Does this work? An honest check
Every draw is an independent random event: every line has the same chance of the top prize, 1 in 3,262,623. The AI Agent’s lines are a selection based on past draws, not a forecast.
Uniformity test (χ²): main numbers p = 0.854. With p above 0.05 the differences in frequency look like ordinary random noise.
Backtest on the last 150 draws: for each draw every strategy picked numbers from earlier history only (3 lines per draw), then matches were counted.
| Strategy | Avg. matches (of 6) | 3+ matches |
|---|---|---|
| Hot numbers | 0.902 | 3.78% |
| Overdue numbers | 0.953 | 3.11% |
| All-time leaders | 0.998 | 4.44% |
| Typical shape | 0.878 | 1.78% |
| Frequent pairs | 0.958 | 2.22% |
| Random pick (theory) | 0.923 | 3.59% |
Most common Daily Million numbers
Across 3,526 Daily Million draws since Dec 13, 2021, the six most common main numbers are 11, 7, 5, 12, 25, and 29. The charts above show how often each number from 1 to 39 has come up, how often in the most recent draws, and how long each one has been missing.
These counts describe the past only. Every Daily Million panel has the same 1 in 3,262,623 chance in the next draw, whichever numbers it holds.
Why Daily Million statistics fill up so fast
Most lotteries draw two or three times a week. Daily Million draws twice a day, at 2pm and 9pm, which means 14 draws a week and a long history in a short time. That makes it one of the better games for seeing what pure randomness looks like.
In each draw 6 of the 39 numbers come out, so any given number has a 6 in 39 chance, about 15.4%. Over 100 draws you would expect each number roughly 15 times. Over 1,000 draws, about 154 times. Some numbers will always sit above that line and some below it. The dashed "expected" line on the Total hits chart marks where every number would be if they all came up equally often.
Hot, cold and overdue numbers explained
Hits in the last 100 draws
The "Last 100 draws" view counts each number in the most recent 100 draws. For Daily Million that is only about 50 days. The "Hot" panel lists the numbers drawn most often in that window. With an expected count of about 15, a number on 20 or more looks hot, but swings of that size happen by chance all the time in a window this short.
Gap: draws since a number last appeared
The "Gap" view counts how many draws have passed since each number last came up. The "Overdue" panel lists the numbers with the longest gaps. On average a Daily Million number reappears about every 6.5 draws, roughly three days. Long gaps are still normal: the chance that a given number misses 20 draws in a row is (33 ÷ 39)²⁰, about 3.5%, so at any moment one or two of the 39 numbers are usually on a gap of 20 or more. That says nothing about the next draw.
Pairs, sums and odd/even balance
- Frequent pairs lists the two-number combinations that have come up together most often. Any particular pair has about a 2% chance of appearing in a given draw, so most pairs turn up roughly 20 times per 1,000 draws.
- Sum of 6 numbers adds the six main numbers of each draw. Most sums cluster around the middle, because there are far more ways to make a middle total than an extreme one.
- Odd / even shows how many odd numbers each draw contained. Splits like 3 odd and 3 even are common simply because more combinations produce them.
These charts describe the shape of past draws. The statistics count main numbers only; the bonus number is not included. Daily Million Plus is a separate draw and is not covered here.
Do hot or overdue numbers help?
No. LottaGo tested this directly. Each AI Agent strategy, including hot numbers, overdue numbers and frequent pairs, was replayed over the last 150 draws, picking 3 lines per draw from earlier history only. The strategies matched numbers about as often as random picks. The full table is in the "Does this work? An honest check" panel above, and our guide asks do hot and cold numbers work? in more depth.
Believing that an overdue number is "due" is the gambler's fallacy. The machine has no memory of the 2pm draw when it runs the 9pm one.
Is Daily Million random? What the χ² test shows
LottaGo runs a χ² (chi-squared) uniformity test on the Daily Million counts. It asks a simple question: are the differences between the most and least drawn numbers bigger than chance would produce? The answer is a p-value. A p-value above 0.05 means the spread looks like ordinary random noise. The result for Daily Million is shown in the "Does this work? An honest check" panel above, next to the backtest.
Daily Million statistics FAQ
Which Daily Million numbers are drawn the most?
Since Dec 13, 2021, the most drawn Daily Million main numbers are 11, 7, 5, 12, 25, and 29, over 3,526 draws. The ranking changes as new draws come in, twice a day. Being at the top of the list does not make a number more likely in the next draw. To see the draws themselves, open the past Daily Million draws.
Are overdue numbers more likely to be drawn?
No. Each Daily Million draw starts from all 39 balls, so a number that has been missing for 30 draws has the same 6 in 39 chance as one drawn an hour ago. Long gaps are expected: with 39 numbers and 14 draws a week, one or two numbers are usually on a run of 20 or more missed draws.
Is Daily Million rigged, or are the draws random?
The data on LottaGo looks random. The χ² test compares the real counts with what equal chances would give, and the backtest shows that no history-based strategy beats random picks. Neither result proves anything about how the draw is run, but neither shows a pattern you could use. Compare with the most drawn numbers in other lotteries.
